Philosykos
The fig tree, reimagined... In the Eau de Toilette Philosykos, the taste of the fruit takes a step back: white cedar accentuates the woody strength of the tree and its bark.
A scent that recalls the memory of walking through a wild fig grove during a summer in Greece.
- In the Eau de Toilette, the fig tree reveals itself in a different light. The taste of the fruit fades into the background, while white cedar highlights the woody strength of the tree and its bark, warmed by the midday sun.
- Memories of a summer in the Greek mountain region of Pelion: To reach the sea, one had to cross an orchard of wild fig trees, basking in the sun. Philosykos is an ode to the entire fig tree – the green freshness of its leaves, the milky sap of its fruit, all underscored by the dense woodiness of the tree itself.
- “Philosykos” means “friend of the fig tree” in Greek. A tree whose leaves and branches, gathered in a box of memories, became the source of inspiration.
